Today I’m going to start showing the cards that we made at my Fall card class last week. This class is going to be repeated Oct. 14th at 2:00pm. I chose to use the stamp set Count My Blessings! I’m in love with this stamp set, as it is so versatile for Fall, Thanksgiving, and works great with the Autumn Harvest DSP paper.
This first card uses the Fresh Fig ink and the flower from Count My Blessings. It is your standard A2 card using Fresh Fig cs. I stamped on Whisper white cs measuring 4″ x 51/4″ with the flower stamp using Fresh Fig ink all over having some flowers going at an angle, upside down, and stamped off the side of the card. I then had a piece of Fresh Fig ribbon and wrapped it around the piece I had just stamped before adhering it to the front of the Fresh Fig card. I then used the Lots of Labels Framelits to cut out the Fresh Fig piece and the Whisper White piece. I next stamped the flower using Memento Tuxcedo Black ink and with the blender pens used Fresh Fig ink, and Pear Pizazz ink. Using Stampin Dimensionals I adhered the stamped piece to the Fresh Fig piece and Stampin Dimensionals to adhere to the card on top of the ribbon.
Some other big news is that World Card Making Day in Oct. 7th, but Stampin’ Up is celebrating from Oct. 1-10 with a sale. The following items are on sale:
