Today I’m starting to share some of the cards we made in the Jars of Love class this month. The first card I got the idea from Pinterest that was from one that Emily Campbell posted. I liked the way she used not only the Jars of Love stamp set but By the Sea DSP.
The colors used were soft sky for the base of the card and then the next layer was the DSP paper. The flowers were stamped using Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo inks. The leaves were stamped using Emerald Envy ink. The mason jar was stamped on Soft Sky cardstock using Dapper Denim ink and then cut out with the framelits that go with it.
Assembly of the card on top of the DSP paper you put the doily and then the mason jar is put on with dimensionals. The flowers and leave stems are also cut out by using the framelit that goes with the stamp. The stems are put on using fine tip glue, and the flowers are put on the stems and leaves using dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla paper 1″x 4″using Flirty Flamingo ink. You cut the flag at one end. It is then put on the card using dimensionals.
This is a close up of the flowers. The light color is Blushing Bride and then the Flirty Flamingo is stamped over it. This is a two step stamp set.
